The purpose of this notice
This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information in connection with your job search.
TDA Recruitment Group (“TDA”) will be a ‘data controller’ in respect of the personal data you provide. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal information. In the event that you have data concerns you should address them, in the first instance, to [email protected].
Why we collect your data
We collect your data because it is in our mutual interests to gather information in connection with your job search. This information will include (but may not be limited to) your CV, full name, past compensation details, eligibility to work in the UK, email address and telephone number. This information will be used to match your details with a specific job or future vacancies and to effectively manage the full recruitment cycle.
How we collect your data
We do this in a number of ways. You will either send information directly to a TDA consultant, or you may submit information via our website or a 3rd party application such as LinkedIn. Information provided to TDA will be added to our secure database which can only be accessed by employees of TDA.
When we’ll share your data
Your information will be held within TDA for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. With your permission we will share your information with prospective employers to increase your chances of securing a role. We will use the contact and personal details you’ve provided unless specifically requested otherwise by you. In certain circumstances, we may be required to take references, carry out credit checks or other lawful or regulatory checks.
How long we retain your data
Your data will be held for the duration of your recruitment exercise, based on the assumption you would like the continued support of TDA. We do not anticipate holding your information for more than six years from our last contact unless we have good reasons to do so (such as a need to defend legal claims).
If you want to be removed from our systems you can inform us at any time.
Failure to provide personal information
If you fail to provide certain information when requested, we may not be able to properly assist with your search for a role.
Links to other websites
TDA’s website may contain links to other websites and once you have used these links to leave our site, we do not have any control over that other website and cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide.
Security
TDA has implemented technical and organisational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure.
How we use Cookies
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies but this can be modified by you in your browser setting. The file is added and the cookie helps TDA analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a site. We may use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used and this helps improve our website and tailor it to your needs. A cookie does not give us access to your computer or any information about you other than the data you choose to share with us.
Your rights and who to contact
If you have any questions about the way we use your data, you should in the first instance address your concerns to [email protected]. It might be that there are steps we can take to explain or amend our processes.
You also have a qualified right under UK law to request: (i) access to your personal data; (ii) the correction or deletion of certain personal data; (iii) that we restrict the processing of data concerning you or; (iv) transfer certain data to other organisations.
We may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.
Please also note that, if we have requested that you consent to the processing of your personal data you may withdraw this consent at any time by providing notice to us.
