Job Title: Fire & Security Engineer

Salary: Market rates

Location: Oxfordshire

We are seeking an experienced Projects Engineer specializing in Fire and Security Systems to manage installations on large-scale projects ranging from £300K to over £1 million, with occasional smaller projects around £30K. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end installation process, ensuring project milestones are met within quality, time, and budget standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute fire and security system installations for large-scale projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site assessments, evaluate project requirements, and develop implementation plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for fire and security installations.
• Perform commissioning tasks where required, testing and configuring systems to meet client specifications.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in fire and security installations on large commercial builds.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Commissioning experience in fire or security systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Based in Oxfordshire or willing to travel within the area for site visits.
